Scuba Diving in Miami

Miami has great dive sites within a short boat ride from the Miami Beach Marina or Key Biscayne.

While there are many coral reefs that are worth visiting, what’s really special about diving in the Miami Beach are are the many different wrecks you can see. Some are natural, though most of them are artifical, i.e. intentionally sunken in order to be enjoyed by scuba divers and fishermen alike.

If you are not a certified scuba diver, you can get your certification in as little as three days. For more information obtaining a scuba certification, contact the any of the dive centers listed below.

To book a dive trip in departing from the Miami Beach marina, contact Tarpoon Dive Center or South Beach Divers. If you prefer to catch a boat in Key Biscayne, contact Diver’s Paradise.

These are some pictures I took on dive sites close to Miami Beach, namely the Army Tanks, Emerald Reef and Belzona Barge.
